The Largest and most successful Online Lighting retailer in the UK uses Currington Web Development to build and constantly improve their web site and mail order systems.
The Lighting Superstore site attracts enormous traffic and has proven extremely successful in converting that traffic in to sales.
We have recently finished a total rebuild of the lighting superstore site. This rebuild included re-writing all of the scripts and code by hand to the very latest standards, full css layout and only using tables for tabular data.
The new site is fully XHTML1.1 compliant and has received nothing but praise since its launch.
Even some of the Lighting Superstore's competition has shown that it recognises the high standards employed on the Lighting superstore web site by copying their features, ideas and text. We have built in systems for The Lighting Superstore that allows them to identify their content beyond any reasonable doubt, this has assisted them greatly in the removal of content that has been copied from their site.
We have also developed the internal and back office systems for this client, some of the features of these systems have saved the client many hours in the day-to-day running of the site, for example the web site can automatically print dispatch labels in less than 2 seconds, also during this 2 second process it updates the clients database with the carriers consignment reference and therefore enabling the client to easily link up the carriers web site and track the progress of a customers delivery.
